ImTOO Blu Ray Ripper is a full-featured Blu Ray ripper. It is a tool that can help you copy and convert your Blu-ray discs to a variety of high-definition and standard-definition formats. The application can either load the files from a Blu-ray disc or your hard drive, if you have ripped the disc before.
ImTOO Blu Ray Ripper has a very elegant interface, which is, as usual, very simple and devoid of unnecessary buttons and features. In the main screen, there is a simple "Get Started" list of the three steps necessary for the conversion of files. In a nutshell, it all boils down to selecting the folder with your Blu-ray files, and selecting a profile from the profile drop down list. When you add a Blu-ray movie, you will see that it contains many titles, just like a DVD movie. You can assign each one of them a different output format and a different language/subtitle combination.
This tool comes packaged with a few video editing tools that are not always necessary, but it is great to have them, just in case. Those are a video merger and a video cutter. ImTOO Blu Ray Ripper has quite a few conversion profiles that allow you to convert your movies for playback on other devices.
I have just realized that this app looks exactly identical to 4Media Blu Ray Ripper. According to the 'about' window, both ImTOO and 4Media work with Xilisoft, so it's natural that their products look and feel identical. |
